All orders require at least one week advanced purchase. You may order months in advance if you wish. Wedding cakes usually require more than one week.
We bake a few items with nuts and are very careful when we do. We understand cross contact and do our best to avoid it. However, we do have nuts in our home. If you have a severe nut allergy, please be advised of potential contact and proceed with caution.
We have celiac, so we understand. Yes, we have very few items with gluten in our home, but we do not bake anything with gluten or have gluten flour. Gluten items are never out while baking, and we are extremely careful to eliminate cross contact.
Depending on what you order, we may be able to replace dairy, eggs, and nuts. Let us know what you need. Everything is gluten free. Sorry, we do not bake anything sugar free.

We started as La Bonne Miche GF Bakery in October 2021 because we started the bakery with sweet loaves. The name means "the good loaf" in French. Since our focus changed to cakes and other goodies over the years, and since it's hard to say/remember/spell it in French (for most people), we changed the name to something fun. We use vanilla in almost everything we bake, and we love this fascinating plant (an orchid, actually). If you can ever visit a vanilla farm (like in Hawaii), we highly recommend it.
Fun facts: Vanilla is the second most expensive spice in the world, second only to saffron. Pure vanilla extract can have a variety of flavor profiles and takes a long time to create.
